The World’s First

Business Carnival

November 12th, 2026 in Austin TX

The stage is cancelled.

For one day.

You’ve sat for the keynotes. You’ve scribbled notes during panels. You’ve scarfed down chicken and salad to make the most of ‘networking hour.’ And you’ve bathed in enough information, trying to pick out the nuggets that inspire something within you.

Your problem isn’t a shortage of ideas, strategy, or motivation.

Your problems sounds like:

My high-ticket offer is attracting perfect-fit clients, but I could take 5 more. I need to find a low ticket lead-in or some sort of conversion event to draw more of these people to me.

Is this hire I’m thinking about actually worth $5K a month? Can I even afford that with my current revenue? If so, do I need to hire someone before them?

I have an audience of 50,000 followers between Instagram, Threads, and my email list, but I’m ready to build a community. How do I go from one-way communication to creating something where they’re connecting with each other?

I’m shifting my title and I’m really nervous. Everyone knows me for this thing and now I want to expand my personal brand. How do I do that without hurting the brand reputation I’ve spent 4 years building?

Something is missing in my brand. I’m straddling this weird spot between ‘cool girl on the Internet’ and ‘auntie with aggressive amounts of expertise.’ Sometimes it feels inconsistent, but I don’t want to lose parts of myself by committing to one side.

Instead of a stage with speakers, we curated carnival booths to work with you 1:1 to solve specific problems in your business.

And an implementation lounge, so when you get the solution— you go do it in real-time on the carnival floor.

This is not a pitch fest.

Every booth is there to work with you to solve a problem that could be worth $100K in your business.

Meet Them

If your problem is :
‘I feel invisible on Instagram with how fast organic content marketing is changing on Instagram.’

Tini’s Shut Up My Show Is On

to create a viral IG series with her ahead of the Meta Episodes roll out, so you can give both cold traffic and your warm followers a reason to keep checking back.

If your problem is :
‘I’m about to make a big financial decision or made a big decision and now I’m not sure if I’m doing or did the right thing.’

Meaghan’s Forgive Me CFO For I Have Spent

to confess that money thing you haven’t told a soul about and get her take on where to proceed based on your revenue and expenses.

If your problem is :
‘I’m stepping into a much bigger personal brand, but I’m not sure how to fully leverage it.’

Hayley’s booth

to get some big deal content assets and a plan for how to use who you are to speak on stages, get the podcast invite, and build a reputation that reaches far beyond Instagram.

If your problem is :
‘I don’t think my relationships are supporting this stage of business I’m growing into.’

Lizzy’s booth

and tell her about the recurring fight with your partner, the tension with your cofounder, or the loneliness you feel as you get more successful and shift how you approach this interpersonal issue.

If your problem is :
‘I feel behind with AI but I’m overwhelmed and need to build a workflow for this thing that’s sucking up way too many hours.’

Julianna’s Set It and Sip

to have her strategize and build out a workflow for you while she whips up a cotton candy mocktail for you to sip on while your worst admin nightmare gets fixed.

If your problem is :
‘I feel out of control with my finances and don’t have a handle on things.’

Melissa’s Are My Books Cooked?

and have her review how you’re doing things to help you feel in control of your finances instead of like a horror story is starting every time you have to look at your numbers.

If your problem is :
‘I’m growing, but it feels slow and I hate slow.’

Catryce’s booth

to green light your growth by finding the gap that’s slowing everything down and figuring out how to fill it in a lean way so you can finally start growing at the rate that matches your ‘I want this now’ personality.

If your problem is :
‘I’m scaling, but I’m not sure I can do and hold everything that’s required of me at this new level.’

Kayla’s The Capacity Lab

to map out your current capacity and then figure out some of the things you can do to increase it, so you’re able to meet your highest-leverage edge and become who your vision is asking you to become.

If your problem is :
‘I know the power of relationship building, but I don’t have the time to build all of the relationships I want to build.’

Mom Brain Media’s
booth

and figure out your best assets to build relationships at scale, so you can keep leveraging the power of a network without sending 100 voice notes a day and needing to build the most robust CRM ever.

If your problem is :
‘I want to feel really confident in my body, especially when I step into big rooms and on stages.’

Madison’s booth

to get a 1:1 plan for how you can eat well, move your body, and feel better even when your week looks like 3 flights, a keynote, a VIP Day with a client, and your bestie’s birthday in Vegas.

If your problem is :
‘I know my personal brands and stories are such a good conversion tool for my warm audience, but I don’t know how to leverage them.’

Hannah’s Haunted House

where she’s creating a specific story framework for you that’s so good you can post and ghost, knowing your stories will do the heavy lifting for you while you’re away for the day.

If your problem is :
‘I’m drowning in tasks and I can’t get organized for the life of me.’

(sponsor) April’s booth

with Get Tasked to compete for most chaotic at the carnival. Then get a custom plan to tame the mental load with the most ADHD friendly system to turn your inner monologue into task management.

What a Day at the Carnival Looks Like

At Fair Market in East Austin

Here’s who The Proximity Marketplace is for and not for

    Kiss or Dunk

    KISS

    💋

    • Established or scaling service-based business owners who’ve hit their first $100K, feel comfortable in their brand, and/or lead a community of over 100 people

    • Founder-forward product brands or tech startups who are actively raising, have hit product-market fit, or are innovating in a stale space

    • Personal brands or individuals who have been recognized for an exceptional talent or doing work that’s making the world a better place

    • Founders who can get a solution and take action quickly, valuing implementation and experimentation over dwelling, thinking, or waiting.

    • Founders who are in a phase where it’s less about what they can do and more about how can they access, hire, or collaborate with to make the do much faster and more effective

    • Playful, social, and curious people who wanna f*ck around and find out what happens when they become the main character instead of sitting in a chair all day

    DUNK

    💦

(I love you and I know you won’t be happy at my event)

    • Founders and business owners who genuinely love chilling out, hearing inspirational storytelling keynotes, or hardcore note-taking on a hot market trends or strategies.

    • Newer business owners who need the 101 of big business umbrellas like finance, mindset, marketing, or growth

    • Business owners who only like taking advice from people who they’ve personally worked with over a long period of time (you’re monogamous to your coach in a 12-month mastermind)

    • People who get overwhelmed easily and need a lot of time to process, choosing slow + intentional over ‘sh*t that’s good, let’s try it’ energy.

    • People who think having fun and playing games is a distraction from success, not fuel for it.

    Hi, I’m Lucy

    And I know events

I created The Proximity Marketplace after attending 25 events in a year. My credit card points were happpyyy having me run around the country, speaking in Michigan, Florida, Canada, New York, and Alabama (to name a few). I paid to speak. Was paid to speak. Ran workshops. Roasted people’s bios live on stage. Keynoted. Created the viral IG series, ‘can I become a global speaker in 90 days?’ Did 3 multi-day events in one week. And set up activation booths at both SXSW and Create and Cultivate.

I f*cking love events. And I also noticed that a lot of events were eerily similar.

    Programming = speakers on stage.

Networking opportunities = you need to have the VIP upgrade.

Build up = the keynote at the end that leads into a pitch

Lunch = panic meet everyone (and EAT bc this is your only chance)

I don’t have anything against speaker events. I am a speaker, so that’d be a weird war to declare. I just started wondering why the event space seems to be married to a framework that doesn’t work for everyone’s brain or stage they’re at in business.

So I threw away the rulebook and built the world’s first business carnival, choosing a group of people I’d want looking at my business, giving me 1:1 solutions, and being my advisory team as I implement them in real time.

This might be my first carnival, but it’s definitely not my first business rodeo
